SEDRO-WOOLLEY, Wash. — Police are investigating a shooting in Sedro-Woolley near State Route 9 and State Street Friday evening.
The person shot, a man around 19-20 years old, was taken to Skagit Valley Hospital. There is no word on the extent of the victim's injuries.
Skagit Valley Hospital has been locked down. Officials said Friday evening it is standard hospital procedure to lock down when they treat someone for a shooting that may be gang-related.
Police are still searching for a suspect.
