AUBURN, Wash. — Six officers are on leave after an officer-involved shooting Thursday night in Auburn.
Officers contacted a woman in a stolen vehicle at the Fred Meyer parking lot in the 800 block of Auburn Way North at about 7:30 p.m.
Only one officer fired rounds at the suspect.
The woman, 48, was taken to Harborview Medical Center with a gun wound to the hand.
Police did not say what caused the shooting.
The five officers, who did not fire shots, are not expected to be on leave for long.
