BLAINE, Wash. — Blaine police arrested a 12-year-old after finding graffiti threatening a school shooting, the department announced Tuesday.
School officials were notified Tuesday morning about graffiti in a middle school boy’s bathroom threatening a shooting at the school on Wednesday, Dec. 15.
Police said this was similar to another graffiti incident at Blaine High School on Dec. 10.
The Blaine Police Department was notified and the department led an investigation that led to the ID of the 12-year-old suspect.
The suspect was arrested and booked into the Whatcom County Juvenile Detention Center, officials said.
