KENT, Wash. — Police responding to a call of a shooting off Southeast Kent Kangley Road in Kent found a 27-year-old man locked in his car and shot in the head.
The officers broke his window, removed the man and started livesaving measures. An ambulance was called, but the man did not survive.
Multiple witnesses provided information to the police and a person of interest, known to the shooter, was located and questioned.
The suspect fled the area.
The police have noted the suspect was known to the victim and that this was not a random shooting.
