SEATTLE — The awards keep piling up for Russell Wilson just three games into the NFL season.

Already with two NFC Offensive Player of the Week awards in his pocket, the Seahawks quarterback was named the NFC Offensive Player of the Month on Thursday.

Wilson is widely considered the early front-runner for the MVP award and he has the stats to back it up.

He’s thrown an NFL record 14 touchdowns in three games to only one interception. He’s completing  76.7% of his passes and has a league best 139.0 quarterback rating.

All of his early season heroics are a driving reason behind the Seahawks' 3-0 start for the first time since 2013 when they went on to win Super Bowl XLVIII.

Gone are the years where the Seahawks would rely on a league-best defense to win games late in the fourth quarter.

This year the team has relied on one of the league’s most explosive offenses to deliver. The Seahawks enter week four averaging 37 points per game, good for second in the NFL.

The Seahawks will look to continue to ride Wilson’s hot start on their way to a fourth victory with a win over the Miami Dolphins on Sunday.
