SEATTLE — Several of our local museums, aquariums and zoos are opening their doors for the first time since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. Many are still limited timed tickets, so be sure to check out their websites and social media for all the updated information.
Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium - pdza.org
The South Pacific Aquarium and Pacific Seas Aquarium reopen Friday. Limited timed online tickets are required.
Seattle Art Museum - seattleartmuseum.org
The Seattle Art Museum reopened to members on February 27 and is now reopened to the public. The Asian Art Museum and the PACCAR Pavilion at the Olympic Sculpture Park continue to be closed. The museum will be open to limited capacity and timed tickets are required.
Wing Luke Museum – wingluke.org
The Wing Luke Museum is reopening on March 5 for limited hours and capacity. Advanced ticket purchases are highly encouraged.
Seattle Aquarium – seattleaquarium.org
The Seattle Aquarium is now open with timed ticketing and limited attendance. Online tickets must be purchased in advance; however, your timed ticket allows for no limit in the time you can spend in the aquarium.
Woodland Park Zoo – zoo.org
The Woodland Park Zoo is open daily, but timed ticket entry is required. Due to limited space allowed under Phase 2, advanced ticket purchases are required.
Museum of Pop Culture – mopop.org
The MoPOP is open with significantly reduced capacity, and timed tickets are required and limited.
Museum of Flight – museumofflight.org
The Museum of Flight is now open Thursdays through Sundays. All visitors must purchase a timed entry ticket online before arriving.
Henry Art Gallery – henryart.org
The Henry Art Gallery reopens on March 6 on Saturdays and Sundays with six new exhibitions and free admission through June 2021.
National Nordic Museum – nordicmuseum.org
The National Nordic Museum is open Thursday to Sunday with timed tickets. Visitors must reserve their tickets online before arriving.
Chihuly Garden and Glass - chihulygardenandglass.com
Chihuly Garden and Glass is now open with limited capacity, daily from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
