Man, woman injured in North Seattle shooting

SEATTLE — A man and woman were injured Wednesday morning in a shooting in Seattle’s Haller Lake neighborhood.

Officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 1200 block of North 127th Street before 1 a.m.

Before police arrived at the scene, two people were taken to the hospital in a personal car.

Investigators said a 29-year-old man and a 31-year-old woman were shot in the leg and had non-life-threatening injuries.

The victims told police they were sitting in their car when a someone pulled up to their car, fired more than 10 shots and drove away from the scene.

According to police, the suspect is outstanding.

The investigation remains ongoing.
