RENTON, Wash. — Police are investigating after a man was fatally shot Friday night in Renton.
Officers were called to the parking lot of a Safeway in the 4300 block of Northeast Fourth Street for a report of a shooting.
Police said that around 6:50 p.m., a group got into a fight with another man. During the fight, a suspect fired several shots, killing the victim.
When police arrived lifesaving measures were performed on the victim but he was declared dead at the scene, police said.
The victim was identified as 22-year-old Marc Valladolid.

The suspect and several others fled the scene in a vehicle, according to authorities. Police described the car as a gray mini van with no or temporary license plates.
The investigation is ongoing.
