ARLINGTON, Wash. — A 63-year-old man was shot and killed during an altercation in Arlington on Monday night, police said.
Snohomish County Sheriff’s deputies responded around 9:20 p.m. to a homicide in the 26700 block of Lake Riley Road.
When they arrived, they found a 63-year-old Arlington man with a gunshot wound to his torso. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The suspect, a 19-year-old man, was taken into custody.
During the investigation detectives learned that there was an altercation inside the house between the victim and suspect, who lived in the house together. The suspect shot the victim during the fight.
The suspect was booked into Snohomish County Jail for investigation of second-degree domestic violence murder.
Detectives are continuing to investigate.
