SULTAN, Wash. — The Sultan Police Department says a man was accidentally shot on February 15.
Police say the gun discharged while he was putting it back into a holster, hitting him in the thigh.
Officers responded to the man’s home and applied a tourniquet to stop the bleeding.
Sultan Police credit a deputy’s quick response with possibly saving the man’s life.
