Macy’s to hire hundreds of holiday workers in Washington

SEATTLE — Macy’s plans to hire hundreds of people in Washington for the busy holiday shopping season.

The company is holding a national holiday hiring event Thursday to fill seasonal positions at stores, call centers and distribution and fulfillment centers, including more than 600 holiday jobs in Washington.

Stores will also offer a new position focused on filling contact-free curbside pickup and same-day delivery orders.

The event runs from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday.

Macy’s said job seekers can expect competitive pay, flexible scheduling, a bilingual work environment, a discount on merchandise and a chance to earn bonuses.

All interviews for in-store jobs will be held by phone.
