Lynnwood police investigate attempted murder domestic violence incident

LYNNWOOD, Wash. — The Lynnwood Police Department is investigating an attempted murder that took place during a domestic violence incident involving a man and his step-father that occurred around 6 p.m. Saturday in the 18100 block of 54th PL W.

During the incident, the step-son threatened to shoot his step-father with a loaded rifle he brought to the residence in the 18100 block of 54th Place W,  but he did not fire the weapon.

The 21-year old stepson was arrested without incident as he was walking away from the residence. He has been booked at the Snohomish County Jail on suspicion of attempted murder, domestic violence.
