Kitsap County launching 1-week COVID-19 vaccine clinic

KITSAP COUNTY — Kitsap Public Health District is launching a COVID-19 clinic next week in partnership with Virginia Mason Franciscan Health.

The clinic is open for people eligible under phase 1A and phase 1B.

Registration opens at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 25 for slots on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. People must book appointments in advance and bring documentation of their eligibility. No walk-ins will be accepted.

Appointments are expected to fill up quickly, and the health district will announce additional vaccination opportunities as more doses are allocated.

The clinic will be located at the former St. Michael (Harrison) hospital, at 2520 Cherry Ave. in Bremerton

More than 600 volunteers will be working at the clinic. The state allocated about 2,000 doses of the Moderna vaccine to Kitsap Public Health District for the next week.
