SEATTLE — While doing chores in his apartment and washing dishes, a neighbor spotted a man prying open his neighbor’s window with a knife on Tuesday night.
The neighbor called 911 to report the burglary in process.
By the time officers arrived, the man had already left the home with two laptops, a pair of headphones and some checks.
The neighbor provided a description of the man to the police and officers were able to find the 38-year-old man just a few blocks away.
After searching the man’s bag, the officers found all the stolen items.
The stolen property was returned and the man was booked into the King County jail.
