CLARK COUNTY, Wash. — Detectives with the Washington State Patrol are asking for the public’s help as they continue to investigate a shooting on State Route 14 in Clark County.
The shooting occurred around 11:30 p.m. on July 23 between Evergreen Boulevard and Lieser Road -- located east of Vancouver, Wash.
Officials said Jessyca Sweeten was driving eastbound when a bullet stuck her red Subaru Impreza just above the driver’s door.
The bullet shattered the window and sent debris into Sweeten’s face, according to the State Patrol.
Sweeten was transported to PeaceHealth Southwest to receive treatment for her injuries.
In a news release, the State Patrol did not provide an update on Sweeten’s condition.
