TACOMA, Wash. — Southbound lanes of I-5 were briefly closed Sunday afternoon for emergency repairs to an expansion joint, WSDOT said.
WSDOT tweeted about the repairs Sunday afternoon. The repairs happened near M Street.

Three lanes were closed whiles crews put the emergency repair in place. WSDOT said crews will come back later this week for a permanent repairs.
