RENTON, Wash. — Renton firefighters put out a brush fire on a hillside near Maple Valley Highway.
Crews responded about 9:08 p.m. Saturday after receiving multiple reports of smoke.
Crews determined the fire was coming from near the Cedar River Dog Park area where there is limited access, officials said.
Officials said additional units were called in to help fight the fire due to increasing winds.
Crews were able to reach the fire and officials said there were no threats to homes or any other structures.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
