RENTON, Wash. — A bicyclist suffered life-threatening injuries after being struck by a car on Thursday night in Renton, police said.
The crash happened on South Grady Way and Rainier Avenue South.
The bicyclist was taken to Harborview Medical Center for treatment.
Officers said the driver was not impaired or at fault.
Rainier Avenue was closed in both directions near the scene, and the westbound lane of Grady Avenue was also closed. The roads were reopened just before 8:50 p.m.
