SAMMAMISH, Wash. — Three juveniles were arrested in connection with a series of break-ins and arsons in Sammamish.

The King County Sheriff’s Office said on Sept. 21 Eastlake High School’s baseball clubhouse was broken into and vandalized but no suspects were located during that time.

Days later, on Sept. 25, the front of Traders Joe’s in Sammamish was set on fire, causing damage, law enforcement said. That fire was ruled an arson.

And two days later the baseball clubhouse at Eastlake High School was broken into again and a fire was started on the inside, leaving behind damage, authorities said. But the destruction did not stop there, and police said another fire was set on the inside of the baseball clubhouse again.

Officials said thousands in damage was caused due to the break-ins and arsons.

Police said during their investigation into the crimes, three juveniles were identified, and stolen property was recovered.

The three suspects were arrested on multiple counts of burglary, arson and malicious mischief.
