Crews tackle flare up at Fremont building that burned

Firefighters tackled light smoke and flames Friday night at a Fremont commercial building which was the same building where a two-alarm fire ripped through earlier this week.

SEATTLE — The flare up happened at the Asko Processing building at 434 North 35th Street just before 10:30 p.m.

On Tuesday afternoon, the building was destroyed by flames after chemicals ignited a fire inside. The fire created toxic black smoke that filled the sky.

Crews have been continuously cleaning up after Tuesday’s fire.
