BELLEVUE, Wash. — A Lake Hills woman was sitting in her mini-van in her driveway when two men forced open the door and robbed her at gunpoint.
"He pulled a gun and said give me everything," the victim told KIRO-7. The 39 year-old mother of three does not want to be identified because she's afraid.
The woman and her husband left their business on Rainier Avenue South on Jan. 16. Police say two men followed them all the way to Bellevue.
The couple pulled into their driveway in Lake Hills. The victim's husband went inside to get their children.
The woman was in the passenger seat when the men opened her door, put a gun in her side and demanded her purse, her cellphone, even stole the North Face coat she was wearing.
Bellevue police say this robbery is very unusual.
The victim worked with a retired Bellevue detective to create a sketch of the gunman. A photo of the car the men were driving was captured on a traffic camera in Bellevue.
Police ask anyone who recognizes the man to call Crime Stoppers of Puget Sound at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), there is a $1,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest.
