King County Washington State Patrol troopers have investigated 88 vehicular collisions and made 38 DUI arrests since Friday morning alone.
One of the arrests includes an incident early Monday morning near the Washington State Convention Center on Interstate 5.
WSP says there were no injuries, and the suspect was taken into custody around 2 a.m.
The rise in traffic-related incidents is linked to the increased travel and festivities stemming from the holiday weekend.
Vehicles traveling Monday evening should be careful as Memorial Day weekend draws to a close.
