A magnitude 2.8 quake rattled the Redmond area Thursday morning.
The U. S. Geological Survey reports it occurred at 9:37 a.m. and was centered two miles northwest of Redmond at a depth of about five miles.
Although it was a small quake, the Pacific Northwest Seismic Network website reports more than 250 people felt it.
The quake was first reported as a magnitude 3.0.
