SEATTLE — The Seattle Kraken have made their final payment of the $650 million expansion fee on Friday, allowing them to make trades and sign free agents.
The Kraken are now officially the NHL’s 32nd team.
Today marks a HUGE moment in our club’s history: we have officially completed the process of joining the National Hockey League.
