RENTON, Wash. — Ahead of the season opener, the Seahawks are doing their best to bolster their practice squad, signing offensive tackle Bobby Hart today, Sept. 3.
32-year-old Hart is a seasoned veteran, spending time with the New York Giants, Cincinnati Bengals, Tennessee Titans, Buffalo Bills, and most recently, the Los Angeles Chargers.
Since joining the league in 2015, Hart has played in over 100 games and started 75 times, according to a Seahawks press release.
To make room for Hart, the Seahawks released defensive tackle Uso Seumalo, who was highlighted throughout HBO’s “Hard Knocks.”

Seumalo went undrafted back in April and was picked up by the Seahawks shortly after the 2026 NFL Draft. After battling through training camp, Seumalo was waived when the Seahawks reduced their roster to 53-men. A day after, he signed to the Seahawks’ practice squad.
The Seahawks face off against the New England Patriots Wednesday, Sept. 9 at Lumen Field.
