SEATTLE, Wash. — The Seahawks announced today, Aug. 31, that they have signed 17 players to their practice squad -- one day after cutting their roster down to 53.
According to Seahawks.com Senior Reporter John Boyle, all of the players signed to the squad today are returning after being cut in some form from the team Sunday night.
Among the notable returning players are running back Jacardia Wright, safety AJ Finley, wide receiver Ricky White III, and cornerback Trevon Diggs.
Diggs, who the Seahawks picked up early this training camp, had one interception in the Seahawks’ third and final preseason game against the Kansas City Chiefs.
The Seahawks, led by quarterback Jalen Milroe, went on to tie that game, 9-9.

The Seahawks face the New England Patriots for a rematch of Super Bowl LX to kick off the season next Wednesday, Sept. 9 at Lumen Field.
