SEATTLE — Two of the six workers injured in an explosion at a hydroelectric dam in central Washington have been released from the hospital.
Harborview Medical Center in Seattle advised of the two releases on Sunday.
Three male patients remain.
One is critical in intensive care, one is serious in intensive care and one is satisfactory.
None of the workers have been identified.
A Grant County Public Utility District official has said an electrical equipment malfunction caused the explosion at a hydroelectric dam near Mattawa.
The injured workers were described as power plant electricians and operators whose primary duties are to work on equipment at the dam.
