FRANKLIN, Tenn. — A Tennessee woman is accused of kicking a nurse and police officer in the face and biting another officer early Friday, authorities said.
Alicia Perlson, 24, of Nashville, was charged with DUI, three counts of assault, two counts of disorderly conduct and a violation of the consent law, according to a news release from the Franklin Police Department. She was released after posting $7,000 bail, police said.
Police were called to a bar in Franklin at around 12:30 a.m. after receiving reports of a woman nearly hitting several vehicles while attempting to drive out of a parking lot, WZTV reported.
Perlson was arrested by police on suspicion of driving under the influence, the television station reported. She was taken to an area hospital for blood alcohol testing.
According to the Franklin Police Department, Perlson became “belligerent” at the hospital and kicked a nurse and police officer in the face. She also bit another police officer, police said.
Perlson is expected to appear in court Nov. 21, WZTV reported.
