Robert Golwitzer Jr., 42, is accused of calling the McDonald’s in the Des Moines suburb of Ankeny at around 5:20 p.m. and threatening to punch an employee and blow up the establishment after noticing the error, WHO 13 reported.

According to a criminal complaint, police contacted Golwitzer at the phone number from which the threats were made, and he admitted - first on the phone and later in a formal interview - to placing the call, the TV station reported.
