TIPTON COUNTY, Tenn. — Four women have been arrested after a 95-year-old retired U.S. Navy and World War II veteran was robbed at his Tennessee home, authorities said.

Keith Cook was robbed at his home in Brighton, according to Tipton County Sheriff J.T. "Pancho" Chumley.

Cook told officers that five women arrived at his home around noon on March 4. They knocked on his door, forced their way inside, and took his wallet and other items. Cook also said the women burglarized his vehicle.

Officers said the incident was caught on surveillance video. Detectives identified the suspects as Brittany Stewart, Tia Williams, Tamara Williams, Caprice Somerville and De’Ana McCown aka De’Ana Dean, authorities said. The five women are between the ages of 19 and 23 and from Covington, Tennessee, officials said.

Brittany Stewart, Tia Williams, Tamara Williams and Caprice Somerville were arrested and charged with robbery, aggravated burglary and theft of property under $1,000. All four suspects are currently in jail. McCown has not been arrested yet.

“To prey on the weak, such as this 95-year-old WWII veteran, will never be tolerated," Chumley said.
