Trader Joe's recalls walnuts for possible salmonella contamination

Trader Joe’s is recalling some packages of raw walnuts because they may be contaminated with Salmonella.

The company said the recalled walnuts were distributed in Trader Joe’s stores nationwide.

The products have been removed from store shelves and their sale has been suspended while the source of the issue is identified.

Trader Joe’s said it has not received any complaints of illness related to the recalled products.

Anyone who bought any of the product with the specified "best by" dates and lot numbers should throw it away or return it to any Trader Joe's for a full refund.
