OLYMPIA, Wash. — A woman was arrested after shooting her ex-boyfriend several times in Olympia, according to police.
The victim, a 36-year-old man drove himself to St. Peters Hospital with several gunshot wounds to his hip and legs.
It was there that he told police that he had went to his ex-girlfriend’s house on State Avenue at about 6 p.m. Monday, where they got into an argument and she shot him several times, police said.
His wounds were not life-threatening.
Officers who went to the home were unable to get her to come outside. SWAT officers were called to the scene at about 8 p.m.
The woman surrendered peacefully at about 11 p.m.
The 34-year-old woman was booked for investigation of first-degree assault, domestic violence and felony possession of a firearm.
