BREMERTON, Wash. — A person was arrested after hitting another person several times with a steel ashtray stanchion in Bremerton, according to the Bremerton Police Department.
On Monday, officers responded to a report of a serious assault at a Quality Inn in Bremerton.
According to a news release provided by Bremerton police, the victim was struck several times in the head, resulting in significant injuries.
The victim and the suspect are both residents of the Rescue Mission at the Quality Inn.
The suspect - who was born in 1989 - was arrested and booked for assault.
Bail was set at $200,000.
