A 14-year-old girl was arrested for driving under the influence after a short pursuit throughout Puyallup, troopers said.
Before 12:30 a.m., troopers tried to stop a car for speeding near 112th Street East and 9th Street by Costco.
According to the Washington State Patrol, the driver didn't stop and there was a short pursuit with speeds ranging from 90 mph to 100 mph.
After troopers put out spike strips, the car stopped near the South Hill Mall.
Troopers said two people inside the car fled but troopers caught them after a brief chase.
According to WSP, the two people were 14-year-old girls.
One girl registered as a missing person and was released to her parents at the scene, investigators said.
The driver was booked into juvenile detention for suspicion of eluding and driving under the influence.
There were no injuries during the chase.
