14-year-old suspect in fatal Federal Way shooting arrested

The second suspect in a deadly Federal Way shooting, 14-year-old Diante J. Pellum, surrendered Sunday night to Federal Way police. 

FEDERAL WAY, Wash. — Authorities say Pellum attended Saghalie Middle School.

The first suspect was arrested on Feb. 19. 
16-year old Wesley Gennings was fatally shot outside a Federal Way Taco Bellon the night of Feb. 13, when police responded to reports of a gunshot in the area.
The shooting occurred in the parking lot. 
Police say Gennings died of a gunshot wound. The wound was inflicted while he was behind the wheel of his car.
Witness reported seeing the two suspects, who were inside the vehicle with the victim, flee the area on foot. Both are now believed to be in custody. 

Police say this is still a "very active investigation".
