LACEY, Wash. — Lacey police officers rescued an injured owl in the road on Wednesday night.
It’s believed the owl may have been hit by a car.
Officers were able to get the owl off the road until Fish & Wildlife and Wild Bird Rescue staff could come in and assist.
“What a hoot!” Lacey PD said.
