KIRKLAND, Wash. — King County water crews rescued a man off of a sinking boat in Kirkland Sunday night, the sheriff’s office said.
Crews responded to reports of a person clinging to a sinking boat near the Kirkland Homeport Marina.
The small sailboat, appears to have overturned while in the water.
The sheriff’s office said the man was slightly cold but in satisfactory condition.
Mercer Island Harbor Patrol assisted with the rescue.
