A Washington State Ferries worker was assaulted at Colman Dock early Monday morning, according to Washington State Patrol.
Terminal security responded at approximately 12:15 a.m. and took the suspect, a 28-year-old man, into custody.

Medical aid responded and treated the ferry worker for her injuries.
The suspect was taken to King County Jail. Prior to being booked, he requested to use the bathroom and have his handcuffs removed. The suspect then assaulted the troopers who were in the bathroom with him. Troopers used an electronic control device to end the assault.
The suspect was put back in handcuffs and taken to the jail for several charges including felony assault. The two troopers sustained injuries in the incident.
