Washington QB Jacob Eason announces he will enter NFL Draft

SEATTLE — University of Washington quarterback Jacob Eason announced Thursday morning that he will enter the 2020 NFL Draft.

Eason made the announcement on Twitter.

“Playing this season for the University of Washington has been one of the greatest experiences of my life. UW has given me an incredible opportunity to develop as football player and a person, and I am forever grateful and honored to be a Husky,” he said.

Eason transferred to Washington from the University of Georgia after the 2017 season, redshirted during the 2018 season and was named the starting quarterback for the 2019 season.

The junior quarterback threw for 3,132 yards and 23 touchdowns this season.

Eason ended his career at the Las Vegas Bowl, where the Huskies beat the Boise State Broncos, 38-7.
