Warm 106.9 FM kicks off all-Christmas music format for 20th year

SEATTLE — Warm 106.9 kicked off its 20th year of being Seattle’s official Christmas music station during the holiday season.

The station launched its all-Christmas music format Wednesday with a countdown by Pat Monahan, lead singer of the band Train, who lives in Seattle.

Warm’s 20-year milestone began with the playing of the Andy Williams' classic, “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year.”

“It’s been a tough year,” Warm 106.9 Brand and Content Director Cat Thomas said. “We felt the sooner Warm106.9 could bring some good cheer and holiday spirit the better!”

Seattle listeners will be able to celebrate the season with Christmas music 24 hours a day on Warm 106.9 FM, at www.warm1069.com, on the free Warm 106.9 app and on all smart speakers. Tell Alexa to “Open Warm One Oh Six Point Nine” to listen.

Listeners can enjoy Warm 106.9′s Christmas favorites through Dec. 25.
