PIERCE COUNTY, Wash. — Washington State Patrol troopers are investigating two shooting incidents on Interstate 5 in Pierce County on Sunday afternoon.
Trooper Robert Reyer said one of the incidents happened on northbound I-5 toward South 38th Street in Tacoma.
The ramp from northbound I-5 toward eastbound South 38th Street was blocked but has since reopened.
The other incident occurred on northbound I-5 toward Thorne Lane in Lakewood.
Reyer said both incidents happened within eight minutes of each another.
There were no injuries, Reyer said.
The circumstances surrounding the shooting incidents are unclear at this time.
