RENTON, Wash. — A 16-year-old boy was shot Wednesday night in Renton, police said.
Officers responded about 7:20 p.m. to the 2200 block of Benson Road South and found the teen with a gunshot wound.
The boy was taken to Harborview Medical Center with life-threatening injuries, authorities said.
No other injuries were reported.
Police said multiple witnesses are being interviewed to determine what led to the shooting.
Police did not say if a suspect was taken into custody.
