Suspected DUI driver injured, arrested after crash on SR 18 near Tiger Mountain Summit

KING COUNTY, Wash. — A man suspected of driving under the influence was injured and arrested after crashing on eastbound State Route 18 on Sunday evening, said Washington State Patrol Trooper Rick Johnson.

Johnson tweeted at 8:05 p.m. that the driver left the road, jumped a creek, hit a dirt wall and slid into the creek near Tiger Mountain Summit.

The man suffered minor injuries, according to law enforcement.

Troopers said the man was taken into custody for investigation of DUI.

The crash is under investigation.
