SEATTLE — A South Seattle family had to duck as bullets blasted into their home.
They say three men fired seven bullets into the home near Trenton Avenue South by the Rainier Beach light rail station on Sunday around 11:15 p.m.
It isn't the first time they've been targeted, but it is the first time the home was shot with real bullets.
The other seven times they say the home and cars were struck with BBs.
The family has had their rear windows on their cars shattered so many times they have them protected with carpet and wood to try to keep them from shattering again.
The family doesn't know who would want to hurt them. A couple in their 70s lives in the home with their adult daughter.
The father is being treated for cancer and doesn't want to have to leave his home.
