Drive-in movie night canceled Friday at a Lakewood park after shots fired, police say

LAKEWOOD, Wash. — A drive-in movie at Fort Steilacoom Park was canceled on Friday night after shots were fired during a fight, police said.

It is believed the fight broke out at a birthday party, in which cars and participants fled. Officers were called at about 9:50 p.m., The News Tribune reported.

No one was hurt.

The Disney movie “Coco,” which was scheduled to play at 8:30 p.m., was rescheduled, according to the newspaper.

Investigators said they are working to identify the suspects involved in the incident.
