TACOMA, Wash. — An investigation is underway after a 21-year-old man was shot Friday night in Tacoma.
The shooting happened just after 7:30 p.m.
Police were called to South J Street, where they closed the road between South 11th Street and Earnest South Brazil Street.
The victim was shot while sitting in a parked vehicle, authorities said.
The man was taken to the hospital with serious injuries but is in stable condition.
Police said they have not found a suspect yet.
It is not yet known what led to the shooting.
