Search for man reported missing at Deception Pass

WHIDBEY ISLAND, Wash. — The Burlington Police Department is asking for help in finding Jean-Marc Faubert, 28, who was reported missing since Friday morning, police said.

Law enforcement said his car was found at 5:45 a.m. Friday at the Deception Pass Bridge Scenic Vista Parking (south parking lot) on Whidbey Island.

Faubert is described as white, 5 feet 10 inches, 185 pounds with a muscular build and green eyes, officials said. He is also active-duty military.

Faubert was believed to have been wearing black and white Nike basketball shoes, basketball shorts with a black or purple anime T-shirt.

The last time anyone communicated with Faubert was 10 p.m. Thursday, police said.
