Rolled over semitruck blocks westbound I-90 in Seattle for 3 hours

SEATTLE — A rolled over semitruck blocked all lanes of westbound I-90 in Seattle for about three hours.

The crash happened at Corwin Place South, west of Rainier Avenue South, heading toward I-5 around 7 a.m. Wednesday morning.

Video showed the truck perfectly positioned across all lanes.

Washington State Patrol Trooper Rick Johnson said no one was hurt.

The Washington State Department of Transportation said the overturned semi prevented westbound travelers from exiting to both northbound and southbound Interstate 5 as well as the SODO exits.

Debris was cleared, the semi was towed away and a loader was used to straighten out Jersey barriers that were knocked out of place during the crash.

The westbound lanes reopened shortly after 10 a.m.
