REDMOND, Wash. — Officers with the Redmond Police Department say a man who was pulled over on Wednesday had child unrestrained in the back seat.

Police said an officer stopped a man around 10:30 a.m. Wednesday after he was spotted driving 80 mph on State Route 520.
“Thankfully, the child was fine, but please use car seats for kids,” Redmond police wrote in a tweet.
The driver reportedly told police the child was tired and he didn't want to wake her up.
Police said the driver had no license or insurance and was taken into custody.
