Bellevue police arrest burglary suspect after search

BELLEVUE, Wash. — Bellevue police searched for a burglary suspect whom they say was armed with a handgun and rifle.

On Thursday night, police began a search in the 200 block of West Lake Sammamish Parkway Northeast.

The suspect was described as a white man in his 30s with red hair and a beard. Police said he was wearing a hoodie.

At 1:03 a.m., Bellevue police tweeted that they had found the man and were trying to get him to surrender.

An hour later, police tweeted that he was in custody.
